How does it work?
Dream it.
In the initial consult I will get to know you and your dog either through an online questionnaire or call. What is it about your dogs personality that you want to highlight? We’ll discuss what makes your dog and your relationship special. We will plan the day of the shoot and outline a plan for your images.
Do it.
The day of the shoot will be all about your dog being comfortable and enjoying themselves. My number one priority is your dogs comfort and safety. I like to let the dog roam around and have fun while I follow them around looking for the best spot to create the perfect image.
Display it.
I’ll put together an online image proof gallery of the best images from the shoot. You will choose your favorites and then we can finalize how you prefer to enjoy your images, with wall art, desktop displays or albums. I will be available every step of the way.

Erica did an amazing job capturing photos of our puppy and senior dog as well as their humans. She was so patient and had lots of tricks to get the dogs’ attention, and was so very patient. Worried about your dog having to be on leash?
That’s no biggie. In fact, it is safer to keep the dog on leash during a session. I can remove leashes, tags and distractions, making your dog the one and only center of attention!
Afraid that your dog won’t behave or is too crazy to sit for pictures?
Even the wildest dogs take excellent photos. I have experience getting dogs placed for shots and have tricks to get them to look at the camera. Even if your dog never stops moving, I promise I can still capture beautiful photos. Not every picture has to be a posed still shot, in fact most aren’t.
Prior to the shoot, we will chat about your dog and if they have any particular needs or personality traits that may require special attention. Your dog is my top priority and their comfort and safety is my main concern. Typically, I like to spend the first part of the shoot playing and having fun with your dog, getting them comfortable with me and my camera.
